Instead of a regular Notadeepdive edition today, we’re going to take today’s newsletter to ask you to do something instead.
If you’re a subscriber, you probably found Notadeepdive because someone recommended it or shared it on your timeline or LinkedIn page. Heck, it could have been a screenshot in your three person group chat. Wherever they evangelised to you, they were sure you’d love the newsletter (and they were right).
Anyway, because we always want more, we’ve decided it would be nice to get to 6,000 subscribers. Also, what’s wrong with a little ambition?
We thought about running ads, like that time Kuda’s ads were everywhere but in your dreams. But what we know for sure is that if you read Notadeepdive, you know the few more people who should definitely be reading our work.
All of this preamble is basically to say we’re relaunching our referral campaign.
You can generate a referral link here and tell other awesome people like you to subscribe.
And for the fun of it, we’ve even created a leaderboard.
If you’re top of the leaderboard at the end of the week, you win a ₦20,000 voucher to take someone you referred to lunch. You can talk about Notadeepdive while you eat. If your referrals bring us five new subscribers, we’ll even send you a T-shirt, and if ten awesome people show up, we owe you a really fine journal.
Alright, time to get cracking. Think of one person all the people who should be reading Notadeepdive, and send them your link. If they subscribe, you climb the leaderboard and they get a better inbox. Win-win.
See you on Sunday, and hopefully you’ll be sitting pretty atop the leaderboard.
P.S. This week’s two editions are here and here.
And before you run off, listen to the latest edition of the podcast:
LISTEN TO AFRICA BUILT
In the fourth episode of Africa Built, we conclude our two-part series on Interswitch.
Part One ended in December 2010, when Helios bought two thirds of the company from the founding banks.
Ahh how am I not there on the leaderboard I use to share this link religiously sha
Looks like I'd be getting lunch money every week 😂
