An army of brands does not automatically make a kitchen busy.
Is food court model wrong ?
There's just a tension between the model and the expansion/scale ambitions
Tough from this article u still belive there are customers for this model they're using
Call me crazy but I believe there are customers. The trick is then in how you scale the model.
Awesome as always. I also think their original customer base ie the suit-wearing, rave-going, and work-from-home segment haven’t expanded or been as resilient to bear higher prices.
I remember FoodCourt was pricey but good quality. I still think there's a small but steady market for this kind of thing.
Small market, but it's there
Seems like a missed opportunity that this isn’t named: Cloud kitchen in search of “wok” 😅
How didn't I think of that?!?!
In the end, Foodcourt went against their own model and their predicted growth could not catch up with the deviation.
