I would have liked to see answers to these questions in your piece. The losses of jumia has gained enough publicity over the years. I'd like to see what you consider profit in ecommerce at that scale.
Hi Isibor, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I haven't dwelled on Jumia's losses over the years because, as you rightly point out, it has received publicity over the years.
Instead, I focus only on their Dark stores and my genuine belief that this could be pivotal for them.
As to questions about their market share, the stores that rival them, the Yudala + Konga merger, answering those would make this a deep dive, which would then defeat the purpose.
But I think that I could always share a link to deeper dives about some of the topics I cover. Thanks again!
