i honestly dont get how nigerians subscribe to netflix. so many people i know do - and i always wonder about their data costs. i have blocked internet on the tvs and youtube on my kids pc becuse those rabbit holes lead to one month subscription going in one week. or are people streaming netflix in 320p?

as to Tiger foods, if the South africans are writing nigeria off as an investment destination, it dows not bode well for us. lebanese and indians make money too, but they will exploit and underpay and abuse indigense to hell and back

I have a Netflix subscription, but I use one of those broadbands that is unlimited and uncapped. It means I can watch it on my tv without any worries.

I suspect this is what a lot of people do.

As to Tiger, I agree with you, especially because it points to how our middle class is shrinking.

heh. as a heavy user/nerd, i have found all those unlimited and uncapped all have different fine print caveat. .one isp, which i left) was throtlling me during their free download period .i recently paid my current isp for their unlimited wttx package. the speed was 300kb/s. and i had repeatdely dragged this with them when paying for the service. all the isps like throwing round xMBPs speeds, when the reality is the speeds in kb/s or mb/s, at least for those of us who download heavily. after my speak to the manager routine, they put me on their highest package as a test. max dwnload speed was 2.5mb/s at 55k/ month. i jejely went back to my capped, free night data plan where i can get 5mb/s and i am guaranteed to download an 80gb game between 11pm and 8am
